Reggio Emilia Approach, opportunities for professional growth

Reggio Children offers courses of various lengths on the Reggio Emilia Approach® for educators, teachers, professors, workers, and all those interested in the themes of education and school.

For those coming to Reggio Emilia’s educational project for the first time, but also for those seeking deeper understanding of specific areas, Reggio Emilia Approach® study groups are organised in Reggio Emilia each year. As well as initiatives in Reggio Emilia, several countries organise conferences, workshops, seminars, specialist courses, and Masters around the world.

These educational opportunities (in dialogue with the participants), are conducted by teachers, pedagogistas and atelieristas from Reggio Emilia’s Municipal Infant-toddler Centres and Preschools and Reggio Children.

Reggio Children is a credited Educational Provider of the Emilia Romagna Region, authorised by the  Delibera di Giunta Regionale N. 778 in 26/04/2004, and confirmed by Delibera di Giunta Regionale N. 396 in 05/04/2017, for the following areas of activity: CONTINUOUS, PERMANENT, AND HIGHER EDUCATION.

Reggio Children is a certified Educational Provider in compliance with the International Standard ISO 9001:2015 for the design and provision of professional development educational activity.

The Reggio Emilia Approach® in study groups, webinars on demand, online ateliers, videos and online publishing: an “ecosystem” of content and strategies referencing educational experience in Reggio Emilia’s municipal infant-toddler centres and preschools.

Reggio Children promotes several study groups annually as professional development initiatives on the Reggio Emilia Approach®. These offer study opportunities for deeper investigation of the concepts, contents, and values which are part of the educational project of the Reggio Emilia's Municipal Infant-toddler Centre and Preschool project.

Courses are addressed to infant-toddler centre, preschool and primary school teachers, educators, pedagogical co-ordinators, atelieristas and teachers with an arts background, school directors and managers, administrators, architects and any public with an interest.

The Reggio Emilia Approach® is an educational philosophy based on the image of a child with strong potentialities for development and a subject with rights, who learns through the hundred languages belonging to all human beings, and grows in relations with others.
